Moment Factory’s name is a perfect reflection of the vast creativity it’s known for, which looks like something right out of a Tim Burton movie!
Founded in 2001 by Sakchin Bessette and Dominic Audet, who were joined in 2007 by Éric Fournier, Moment Factory has become one of the leading agencies in the multimedia entertainment industry.
Using a range of multidisciplinary approaches, Moment Factory creates ephemeral works that expand into unforgettable experiences, each inspired by the values and identity of a particular place.
“We believe that immersive, entertaining and interactive multimedia has the power to create a kind of social solidarity, to bring people together and create something wonderful.” From their earliest collaborations with the Cirque du Soleil to Madonna’s performance at the Super Bowl, not to mention a projection on the façade of the Sagrada Familia in Spain, each of their many successes bear witness to their creativity, and help to further enhance Montréal’s reputation within Canada and around the world.
Recently, Foresta Lumina, the illuminated path at the Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook (in Québec’s Eastern Townships), has had such a positive effect on tourism in the region that it has started to draw attention from around the world. As a result, Moment Factory is now receiving requests from Parks and Forests agencies around the world to create this kind of unique experience for their parks too. Note that two new illuminated paths will be opened in Québec this summer, in Chandler and at the Zoo sauvage in St-Félicien.
