Montréal’s Quartier de l’Innovation takes flight!

Since its creation in 2013, a series of major projects have helped the Quartier de l’Innovation (QI) to evolve into a world-class experimental tech lab.

With three levels of government, four universities (the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS), McGill University, Concordia University, and the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM)), more than 25 collaborators from the private sector and a dozen incubators and accelerators as its partners, the QI is changing the city’s paradigms and carving out a prominent place for Montréal among the world’s leading innovators.

It is located between René-Lévesque Boulevard to the north, the Lachine Canal to the south, McGill Street to the east, and Atwater Avenue to the west.
