Fashion in all its glory at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts

The MMFA celebrates local and international fashion with two exhibitions that are sure to delight both fashionistas and the curious.

The world premiere of Thierry Mugler: Couturissime explores the work of a visionary designer who revolutionized haute couture, in a spectacular presentation. It’s a unique opportunity to take a closer look at more than 150 outfits and costumes — most exhibited for the first time— along with a large number of photos by leading fashion photographers.

Visitors can also discover the wide range of local expertise in the exhibition Montréal Couture, which showcases both established designers and emerging talents: Philippe Dubuc, Denis Gagnon, Ying Gao, Helmer Joseph, Nathon Kong, Marie-Ève Lecavalier, MARKANTOINE, Fecal Matter, Atelier New Regime and Marie Saint Pierre.
