Memories of Montréal

From now through September 1st, an immersive exhibition entitled Explosion 67 – Youth and Their World at the Centre d’histoire de Montréal will whisk you away to the bustling, dynamic Montréal of the late 1960s, where you can experience the Expo 67 through the memories of the young people who were actually there at the time. The futuristic vision and countless technological innovations of this era are reflected in the structure of the exhibit. Virtual reality even plays a key role, in the form of a Minirail tour with stereoscopic goggles and ambisonic sound! From May 22 to December 2, the modern era gets an exhibition of its own at the Centre d’histoire de Montréal. Entitled J’arrive à Montréal, it presents the stories of young people who have recently arrived in Montréal. Their perspectives offer a different take on the city and a fascinating glimpse of the reality of immigration.
